Last week, the Simon Says Stamp blog posted a Color Coordinates recipe that struck my fancy.
And, really, this summer I can’t say the word “fancy” without singing along. “I’m so fancy, you already know, I’m in the fast lane from LA to Tokyo.” (why YES, I did just quote Iggy Azalea. Offspring3 keeps my music current!)
But I digress! Back to the card!
Here is the Color Coordinates recipe:
Supplies: Stamp – Stampin’ Up!, paper – Papertrey Ink White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Gray, Crushed Curry, Green Galore (retired), Pumpkin Pie, Smoky Slate, Tempting Turquoise, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Lifestyle Crafts (hexagon), Papertrey Ink (word), Stampin’ Up! (banner), enamel dots – Stampin’ Up!, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear.

Sounds like offspring listens to the same kind of music as I do. Had enough of that song this summer. I’ve been doing some hand quilting with hexagons this summer.

I would love to see what you are quilting with hexagons! And I agree, I tired of the radio rotation of “Fancy” this summer. Saw a preview of a new video with Iggy & JLo last night called “Booty”…yep, THAT.

You are one up on me. I couldn’t tell you who sings the song. Booty is overrated and sung about way too much. The quilt project is all handwork so will be in progress for quite some time!
