Here is my take on the current Fusion Card Challenge {Two Hearts}. The faux chocolate candy hearts were inspired by Julie Ebersole (her blog is called Paper Truffles). I spent a fun 30 minutes going back through her blog (based on the date of my earliest rendition of the chocolate hearts), looking for her post showing this handmade embellishment. Ooh these hearts look great! I thought of wood as well as chocolate when I saw them, which made me think of a fun punny sentiment: “WOOD you be mine?”
