Hibiscus Birthday Card – Runway Inspired Challenge ric#76

Here is my take on the current Runway Inspired Challenge, ric#76.

The inspiration was from the Spring 2015 collection of Craven.

I was inspired by the colors in the blocks on the jacket and purse, and the black line on the buttery runway. I stamped the flowers on watercolor paper, and added a tiny ditz trio with the Copic Multiliner. I like the background I stamped, I liked how it looked cut in half, mounted on the black paper.

Then, I will admit, I got a little lost. I added the sentiment, mounted on a red layer to look a bit like a buckle across the two floral pieces. I am not sure if I like the red accent now that I have it all glued together.

Thanks for stopping by!
