Just received this CUTE Jack-o-Lantern tag die as a “gift with purchase” from Taylored Expressions. I had to use it immediately!
I die cut a smaller circle of black to back the tag – so the eyes, nose, mouth would be consistently colored.
I am thinking Offspring3 will snag this one quickly! 😉
Supplies: Stamp – Clearly Besotted, paper – Doodlebug Designs (boos & brews), Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Pop-Tone Grape Jelly, Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, Only Orange (retired), ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Spellbinders (circle), Taylored Expressions (Jack-o-Lantern tag), brad – source unknown.

At first I would not have thought this was one of your cards if I had to pick it out of a line-up. But looking again, I see your hand there. Tell Offspring 3 to bring it back so you can sell it! Great free gift and super card.

Hmmm…I am curious, what is different on this card? I don’t use background paper every week, maybe that is it?

Yes, partly, but maybe the specific background paper I think? It’s a very busy Halloween one with lots of different images -just a bit unusual for you! From We don’t do Halloween cards over here really, but from looking at the US and Canadian blogs I follow it seems that Halloween takes a lot of people away from their usual style or colour palette!

I agree, the paper is really bright, perhaps not my “norm” for color. I love Halloween cards, but cannot justify buying new Halloween stamps because I need so few cards. SO, I splurge on paper every 3 or 4 years. Halloween is all about orange, black, lime green and purple. 😉

Yes, not perhaps a comfort zone for either of us usually?!

I do love lime green & purple…black is a lovely neutral. Orange…well…it’s great for Halloween. 😉
