Gotta love first birthday cards!

I watercolored the elephant on Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor paper with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

  6. Believe me, Kathy, I think the same way when I take a look at my works, that I need a lot of practice.
    The materials are very important. I’ve never used these markers and probably I would’ve had exactly the same results as you do.
    In case with watercoloring it’s typical to have unexpected streaks of color and so on. I just accept, that it’s fine and leave it as it is or mask with adding some texture. The point is to find some beauty in all these unexpected lines and blurs.
