This is for my longest friend…she is not by age my oldest friend, but I have known her the longest. She moved into our neighborhood when I was in 4th grade (she was in 5th). My family moved to another state when I was in 5th grade. My longest friend and I have kept in touch all of these years by letter and now e-mail, Facebook, and the occasional phone call. I do treasure her, and I really hope that I have conveyed that sentiment over the years!

So glad you and your friend made the effort to stay in touch. Seeing your card makes me “need” a bicycle stamp!!! It is so pretty.

Thank you for stopping by, Joan!! I love your work! The bicycle stamp was a windfall (I won it through a blog contest several years ago)…I didn’t think I needed it at all, but it has gotten a lot of use this year.
