Pastel Wildflowers Birthday Card

Yes, after not crafting for almost a month, I chose to color the wildflowers. AGAIN.

I did challenge myself to use a much softer pastel color palette.

This is getting dropped in the mail this week.

Hope you are well.

Pandemic summer continues. I have a new hobby – checking the annuals that I planted around the house every morning to see what the local deer have devoured overnight. They like impatiens and celosia best (mine are down to nubs), have skipped the petunias, vincas and salvia. I am not sure if they are eating the portulucas, or just ripping them out of the ground and spitting them out.

Supplies:  Stamps – Essentials by Ellen, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Wisteria Wonder (retired), inks – Copic BV00, BV04, G00, R20, Y06, YG0000, YG03, YG25, W00, VersaFine Onyx Black, sequins – Pretty Pink Posh, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear.

  1. Your card is lovely. I have a yard full of flowers but no deer in the city!

  2. The card is beautiful. I love my annuals. The only ones that survived the deer this year and last were the vincas. Next year I will just use them in all of the different colors.
