I am VERY LUCKY to be a stay at home mom, a homemaker, a hausfrau. In 2002, when Offspring3 started kindergarten, one of the other mothers at the bus stop invited me to a Stampin’ Up! party, where I was introduced to rubber stamps and card making. I fell head over heels in love with paper, stamps, ink, embellishments, and the creative process. Time has passed. Offspring1 has graduated from college (despite the fact that I cannot believe that much time has passed!), Offspring2 and Offspring3 are in college. I feel my “stay at home mom” status has expired, and I am trying to figure out what I want to do with the next phase of my life. Wondering if there is a way to parlay this paper crafting love into a viable living.
2018 UPDATE: Even MORE time has passed – LOL! All of the offspring have graduated from college. I have shifted into the caregiving daughter role for my still mostly independent parents.

Oh, thanks! Your no-bake Nutella cheesecake sure trumped my cookies, though!

I like your creativity. Do you sell these cards anywhere? or is it just a hobby? I like the card that says ‘You are my type of friend’ with a typewriter.

Oh, thanks! I have a few cards in a gallery near me (Central Maryland), and I do sell to local friends. If you would like to discuss this further, please use the contact me link on the top right of my blog.
