A daughter of a dear friend just graduated from college. School colors are deep green and gray. I had to make it a tiny bit feminine by ink blending a floral background (I am hoping it gives the impression of vintage lace – I may be reaching a bit far with that hope!).
Supplies: Stamps – A Muse Artstamps, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Handsome Hunter (retired – WAY back!), Gold Mirror, inks – Lawn Fawn Manatee, VersaMark, dies – Taylored Expressions, stencil – Heidi Swapp, embossing powder – Stampin’ Up! Gold Glory.
Another graduation card for personal use. Inspirations were “abstract” and college colors.
Coincidentally, the school colors of my high school AND my college were Black & Gold. I spent so much time in black & gold in high school, I never thought I would ever wear it again. I looked down as I was taking the above photo, and I was wearing a matching shirt. 😉
Supplies: Stamps – Essentials by Ellen, Stampin’ Up!, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, inks – Lawn Fawn Sunflower, VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Spellbinders, embossing powder – Stampin’ Up! Crystal Clear.
This is a card I needed for personal use. I did a little research on the graduate (college colors, sorority colors, instagram), and tied the bits of information together to make this.
Fall is not the typical time you see graduation cards in stores, is it?
BUT…2/3 of my offspring graduated in the month of December (1/3 in May).
And, gosh, there are so many ongoing certificate programs, technical programs, medical treatment programs, et cetera, you many need a graduation card any month of the year!
This card is for the daughter of a dear friend, who has graduated from high school within the last few days. The applique flowers are a nod to the young lady’s senior prom dress.
