I made a few holiday money holder cards this year, all the same design, just variation in the color scheme. I used the We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board to make envelopes out of holiday scrapbook paper. The cards are not being mailed, but presented in person. I apologize for no photo of the envelope – the light was fading and I was rushing.
The finished size is 3 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches.

I scoured through my scrap folders Sunday morning, looking for ANYTHING that would turn into something for me to post this week. Found the embossed “be Merry” scraps, and the cute Copic colored Christmas tree.

OK, YES, the blending brushes still have my attention! This time, the base for the blending was Bristol card stock.
I colored the image with Copic markers, then let those colors dictate the colors for the background blend. From the bottom:Â Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet.
A daughter of a dear friend just graduated from college. School colors are deep green and gray. I had to make it a tiny bit feminine by ink blending a floral background (I am hoping it gives the impression of vintage lace – I may be reaching a bit far with that hope!).
