Beach Dune Sympathy Card

A family we know experienced an unexpected, way too young loss around Thanksgiving. I find the beach calming, so this is what we sent to them.

Ocean Theme Baby Card

This was a request from Cousin Pati. Baby boy card for a baby shower. Whales if possible.

Yikes! I have no whales.

But a little school of foiled fish with a stenciled/blended ocean background – I can do that.

Pastel Watercolored Bouquet Birthday Card

I found this stamped piece in one of my folders, and since it turned out to be Bristol cardstock, I did a bit of pale watercoloring with my ZIG pens. I do like how pale it turned out.

I started this with the peonies being only blended Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink – but they just did not show up that well. I added Wild Honey Distress Ink, and WOW! They came to life!

Card for Halloween Wedding

Cousin Pati needs a card for a couple getting married on Halloween. The invitation was very unique and had a purple background.

I made something similar to this last month. Just using the extra horse that I watercolored.

Regal Rose Gerbera Daisy Birthday Card

I used my ZIG real brush pens to wash a coral-y mix of pink and orange over this daisy (stamped on Bristol cardstock). After die cutting, I mounted on some neutral Amy Tangerine paper. Sadly, when I went to pull cardstock for matting and the sentiment, I found I was out of the old Stampin’ Up! Cameo Coral (a soft pastel coral). I did find a sheet of Regal Rose in my stash, it is close enough for this.

Dropped into the mail to a family member, HOPEFULLY arriving on time for Thursday birthday!
