Paper and Ink Imaginings

Ocean Theme Baby Card

Foiled Peonies Just Because Card

While I had my laminator warmed up to make my Mom’s birthday card a few weeks ago, I had to make something using this Rainbow Shattered Glass foil.

SO sparkly!

Supplies:  Stamp – Essentials by Ellen, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, Pool Party, ink – VersaMark, stencil – Simon Says Stamp, die – Simon Says Stamp, foil – iCraft/ThermOWeb Deco Foil Rainbow Shattered Glass, embossing powder – Ranger Super Fine Detail white.

Foiled Citrus Got Real Card

Still trying to find my mojo with the citrus set ( Squeeze the Day ) from Essentials by Ellen.

I embossed a collage with Ranger Super Fine Detail embossing powder, and ran it through my laminator with Rainbow Shattered Glass foil. It came out so bright & shiny (and difficult to photograph!).

Supplies:  Stamps – Essentials by Ellen, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, inks – Hero Arts Unicorn, Ranger Emboss It, foil – ThermOWeb iCraft Deco Foil Rainbow Shattered Glass, embossing powders – Ranger Super Fine Detail clear, white.

Foiled Vitamin Sea Card

I bought some Deco Foil Rainbow Shattered Glass foil recently, and used my laminator to make this card. This foil is GORGEOUS.

And guess what?

I WAS SUCCESSFUL ON THE FIRST TRY! Have I ever said that about foiling before??

Supplies:  Stamp – Newton’s Nook, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Desert Storm, Stampin’ Up! Tempting Turquoise (retired), ink – Ranger Emboss It, dies – My Favorite Things, embossing folder – Darice, foil – iCraft Deco Foil Rainbow Shattered Glass, embossing powder – Ranger Super Fine Detail clear.

Foiled Sea Shells Encouragement Card

My laminator was still out from yesterday’s foiled card.

Dare I try another?

I had recently bought a container of Deco Foil Transfer Gel. It is used with stencils. When it is dry, you put it through the laminator with foil.

So, I flipped through my stencils and picked the shells. And I had this opal foil that I loved, but was not horribly successful with.

OH. MY.

The photo above looks a little “Meh”, doesn’t it? You can see it is shiny, the colors seem to fade on the kraft paper.

BUT…catch it at an angle!

Supplies:  Stamp – Simon Says Stamp, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Bermuda Bay, Crumb Cake, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, die – Lawn Fawn, stencil – Newton’s Nook, Deco Foil Transfer Gel – Therm O Web iCraft, opal foil – Therm O Web iCraft, embossing powder – Stampendous Detail Clear, organdy ribbon – Offray.
