This card was in the batch of replacement cards that was delivered to my mother in law last week.

How are things in isolation for you?

Things here are going well. Nice weather makes the days go faster.

I made a total of 8 scrub caps for my cousin (and ran out of fabric!). I ordered some fabric bundles (quilting pieces) from JoAnn’s, and that finally was available for pickup on Sunday. Now I am making non-medical masks, first for personal use…I’m sure I will end up making some to send off to someone who needs them.

She Believed Note Card

I found this image in one of my scrap folders, and added some Copic coloring around it for this note card.

To be honest, I am not even sure if I still own this stamp! I bought it for one specific project 4 or 5 years ago, and struggled to get it stamp consistently solid. I did a quick search in my stamp storage this morning, didn’t find it.

Offspring3 found this Mazel Tov! stamp in one of the Ellicott City Antique stores. The stamp has the copyright date of 1993…coincidentally, the recipient was born that year. Not sure that either qualify as “antique” – LOL!

Flamingo Valentine’s Day Card

OOPS! Guess who forgot to schedule a post for today!

This is for my goofy parents.

I think the flamingo on the right (Dad!) came out a little dark, but I was not willing to scrap the card over me not having the correct marker color.

For the hearts, I mixed a few drops of Real Red inker with embossing paste, and applied over a tiny heart stencil.

Film Strip Birthday Card

Offspring2 is studying Visual Arts and Photography. Here is the card I made for his October birthday.

The film strip is one stamp, then I masked and added all the individual image stamps into each frame. And I held my breath while coloring….please please please no mistakes NOW!
