A quick anniversary card to fill a request from my mother in law. YES, I did make a pink version of this previously.

I realized this week that I have become a little lax with my trips to the outside world. (The fact that my parents keep forgetting to put items on their weekly errand list has caused Offspring3 and I to go out more often – LOL!) I will strive to be better! I have put an extra bottle of hand sanitizer in my minivan (always have one in my purse, but if it is OUT, in PLAIN SIGHT, maybe I will do better!).

Happy Anniversary Paint Chip Card

I gave this to my parents for their recent anniversary. 62 years – WOW!

Odd design, I know. I leaned back into the “Baltimore sports colors” idea again. I was deciding between this orange paint chip and a purple one. Then I noticed this:

The second color stripe from the top was named “Orioles”. As in Baltimore Orioles (baseball team, for anyone not into American sports). PERFECT!

My parents got married while my Dad was in the Air Force (stationed in New York, at the end of his stint). He got a weekend pass, came back home to Baltimore, they got married on Friday night, went to a Baltimore Orioles game on Saturday.

Painted Blooms Anniversary Card

I had to hustle to make an anniversary card for the in-laws, and my mojo was GONE. I searched my paper collection and found this piece from Stampin’ Up! Painted Blooms. (Hubby even asked if I hand painted the card, so my efforts worked. I answered honestly…”not my work…very pretty paper”.  😉 )

Lattice Medallion Background Anniversary Card

I’m really not sure what to call this background! Is it a lattice pattern? A medallion pattern? (There is no design name on the stencil packaging…I have looked!)

ANYWHO…I blended inks over the stencil, added a few pieces of foliage and a sentiment.

Blended Ink Anniversary Card

I used two stencils to create this ink blended background. I like the falling hearts over the lattice. Put it in the mailbox as soon as I edited the photo.

Another card with a falling heart background – loving that stencil. It just seemed to go perfectly with the “Hogs and Kisses”.
