Happy Yellow Card Duo

Yes, you are required to say “happy yellow” in your best Bob Ross voice!

These went to my mother in law this week. I think she gave some of the last cards to one of her caregivers and now needs replacements? Unclear.

“Stay at Home” is going OK. I am only leaving the house to walk, get groceries, or check on my parents. Offspring3 and I completed a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle in about 8 hours on Monday.

How are things in your private space?

Supplies:  Stamps – Stampin’ Up!, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, ScrapBerry Mediterranean, Stampin’ Up! Pear Pizzazz, Rich Razzleberry, Taylored Expressions Build A Scene, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, VersaMark, dies – My Favorite Things (pierced rectangles), Spellbinders (circles), embossing powders – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, Ranger Silver Pearl.

65th Anniversary Card

One would think that with the current social distancing and stay at home COVID-19 situation that I would be crafting every day.

Nope. No crafty mojo here (must be locked down somewhere else!).

I’ve been walking most days (not fantastic during spring allergy time for me! The pollen really bothers me.), checking on my parents, playing Sudoku on my phone, and doing regular chores. My husband and I ventured out for a Safeway/Target run yesterday. Not crowded, per se, but more people than I expected. And some people are not good about the 6 feet of separation. I think I was holding my breath when people got too close.

SO…my in-laws are celebrating their 65th anniversary this week. I pulled out my supplies to make a card.

The silver mirror “shadow” of the numbers is difficult to see – it is mostly reflecting the bright pink of my pajamas! (I took the photo in the basement at night – it turned out incredibly well, all things considered. Just couldn’t get a shot that didn’t reflect the pink.)

Stay safe, keep the distance!

Supplies:  Stamps – JustRite, paper – Gmund Royal, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, ScrapBerry Mediterranean Dreams, Stampin’ Up! Silver Mirror, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Papertrey Ink (numbers), Taylored Expressions (banner), embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear.

“AACK” Note Card

I am so glad that Julie Ebersole included this sentiment in her Voices in My Head stamp set. “AACK” is something I actually say.  (Blame the comic strip “Bloom County” from the 1980’s!)

Supplies:  Stamps – Essentials by Ellen, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, ScrapBerry Mediterranean Dreams, Stampin’ Up! Basic Gray, inks – Copic E21, E29, E57, VersaFine Smoky Gray, die – Lawn Fawn, embossing powder – Stampendous Detail clear.
